Maybelline #Greatlashblue voxbox!!!

I was about to get my hands on a Maybelline voxbox from Influenster!

So the voxbox that I qualified to review was the Maybelline #Greatlashblue voxbox and there was a super pretty blue mascara included in the box, along with a onyx (black) eyeliner.

The blue mascara is super cute! I've used colored mascaras in the past, like way way back in the day, and I always liked the look of the blue, but I had purchased cheap brands and the formula was always super thick and chunky. This mascara is easy to apply, it just glides right on. It has tons of slip and it makes my lashes look full and unique!

The eyeliner is your typical self sharpening black eyeliner, I hate the pencil liners that you have to sharpen yourself because I feel like a piece of the pencil shaving always get in my eyes even if it's a microscopic piece. The black color isn't the blackest of blacks, but it's black enough. It really stays put once you've applied it.  And glides on alright, it doesn't stick to my eyelids which is a plus. 

All in all, I really like both products. I've been using the brand for years and always have one of those iconic pink and green containers in my makeup box. Both of these products don't irritate my eyes, super plus!

National Ice Cream Month

So apparently July is national ice cream month, I just figured that every month was national ice cream month because of my love for ice cream and I live in Florida, where seasons come to burn and die.

Anywho, in ode to it being national ice cream month I figured that I would share a product that I got to try for free. This is a brand that I had never tried before. So I am going to give my completely honest feedback for this ice cream.

Influenster was nice enough to send me the #MayfieldSummer voxbox. This voxbox included 2 vouchers (up to $6 each) for Mayfield Ice Cream and a Mayfield ice cream scoop. I had an issue finding the ice cream, I had to go to 3 different stores to find the brand and when I did find the ice cream, the ice cream was priced at about $6.50. So I did have to pay a little extra to get the ice cream. So, it wasn't completely free, but it was a great deal.

I ended up using both vouchers and with those vouchers I purchased the turtle tracks ice cream and the chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. The container looked fancy, they were small, especially for the price, but I thought that the quality of the ice cream would make up for amount given. 


So here comes the brutal honesty. I am a complete ice cream snob. I live in Florida and we have a grocery store called Publix and Publix has the best ice cream, I'm talking Ben & Jerrys quality ice cream. The ice cream is always reasonably priced, for example right now the ice cream is priced at 2 for $7 and the containers of their ice cream are pretty big. This is Mayfield ice cream was terrible! The ice cream was straight up chalky and gritty. Both of the ice creams were gritty and chalky, so I don't think that it was an error in production. The actual cookie dough pieces were good and also the chocolate covered caramel turtles were great. The ice cream was also very thin once it melted, I'm not sure if there is any actual cream in the ice cream. 

 I did like the ice cream scoop that came in my voxbox though! It's kinda retro and scoops great due to the design!

Trim Evolution Fruit Infusion Water Bottle #Trimevolution

I received this super neat water bottle that allows me to infuse fruit into my water for free in exchange for my honest review. I absolutely love the product! I've been trying to cut down on my soda intake and drink way more water and I just don't find regular still water to be enjoyable, especially compared to soda. Juice is far too sweet, and has too much sugar, so this fruit infuser water bottle is perfect! I've been drinking carbonated water I'm replace of soda and I find that when I use the carbonated water in my fruit infuser water bottle with the fruit, you don't even miss soda. My favorite combination to use in my fruit infuser water bottle is lemon, lime and orange with the carbonated water. The fruit infuser that fits in the water bottle is large enough so that you can use a variety of different fruit mixtures. Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Voxbox

Influenster did it again, I LOVE Influenster! They sent me another awesome VoxBox! This Voxbox is the Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Voxbox. Inside was a tube of the Airbrush Legs in the color light. I live in Florida and yet I'm super pale and have absolutely no tan. So, if you're looking for tanned legs in a pinch, this is the product to turn to! The product has the consistency of foundation and you just rub the product on your legs and it helps cover up spots and gives your legs a natural looking tan! Easy to apply, stay put and is just as easy to take off! I received the product for free for trial purposes.

Midori Spring Ceremonial (Emerald) Matcha

I got sent ANOTHER great green tea powder to try out and review for free in exchange for my honest review. This tea is by Midori Spring and it's their Organic Ceremonial (Emerald) Matcha tea powder. This tea was nice because they sent you alot of it, as apposed to the gold matcha tea powder that I had reviewed by the same company. They give you tons and there are plenty of uses for the tea powder besides for drinking! (Though, obviously fantastic for just drinking!) I happened to be making a basic yellow cake and so I decided to add a tsp of the powder to my cake batter and along with the yellow cake I was making an Italian Meringue Buttercream frosting. I added a few tbs of the green tea powder into my frosting and after my frosting had chilled for a bit, I mixed it up to reveal the green color. I've never been able to enjoy the Italian Meringue Buttercream on it's own, but with the added flavor of the green tea powder, the frosting and cake was very enjoyable!

BBQ Grill Brush Review

My family grills at least once a week. We have had the same grill brush for ages, and it looks it. When I had seen an opportunity to try a new a new grill brush for free in exchange for my honest review, I jumped at the chance. This grill brush is amazing and very sharp! The grill brush has 3 heavy duty rods that help you really clean the grill racks.

The handle on the brush is comfortable to hold and the position of the brush allows for deep deep cleaning.I don't think it's possible for this grill brush to ever give out! We will continue to use this grill brush for many years to come.

Aveda Smooth Infusion Naturally Straight creme

I have difficult curly frizzy hair and I live in Florida, not a great combination! Aveda gave me the opportunity to try out their Smooth Infusion hair cream and I didn't think the product would work. I used the product for a couple of weeks and I was super happy with the results!
