Midori Spring Ceremonial (Emerald) Matcha

I got sent ANOTHER great green tea powder to try out and review for free in exchange for my honest review. This tea is by Midori Spring and it's their Organic Ceremonial (Emerald) Matcha tea powder. This tea was nice because they sent you alot of it, as apposed to the gold matcha tea powder that I had reviewed by the same company. They give you tons and there are plenty of uses for the tea powder besides for drinking! (Though, obviously fantastic for just drinking!) I happened to be making a basic yellow cake and so I decided to add a tsp of the powder to my cake batter and along with the yellow cake I was making an Italian Meringue Buttercream frosting. I added a few tbs of the green tea powder into my frosting and after my frosting had chilled for a bit, I mixed it up to reveal the green color. I've never been able to enjoy the Italian Meringue Buttercream on it's own, but with the added flavor of the green tea powder, the frosting and cake was very enjoyable!
